A rudimentary-looking, heavy tray with an obvious reference to stone in its natural form: as if it were a semi-finished product. But the colours speak of something else: they bring the mind to the end of winter when snow and ice slowly begin to melt, leaving earth and mud to re-emerge.

Clay:Commercial grogged stoneware (middle chamotte) Glaze:Nuka-type glaze on alumina semi-matt glaze (all glazes are self-made). Fired to cone 6 in oxidation.
